R. David Russell

President, CEO & Chairman of the Board

David Russell is a seasoned mining executive with a track record of leading companies through project development, mine construction and strategic transitions (M&A, turnarounds). He holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from Montana Tech and currently serves as President & CEO of Galleon Gold Corp., where he leads the development of the West Cache Gold Project in Timmins, Ontario. Prior to this, he founded and led Apollo Gold where he acquired the Black Fox Mine bringing it into production. Mr. Russell has held senior roles at companies including Getchell Gold, LAC Minerals / Barrick, Hecla, and Independence Mining.

Sonia Agustina

Chief Financial Officer

Sonia worked as a consulting accountant for Galleon Gold (formerly Pure Nickel) from March 2017 until her appointment as CFO. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with 17 years of audit and public market experience with a Bachelor of Administrative Studies (Honours) from York University.

Lisa Buchan

VP Corporate Development & Corporate Secretary

Lisa brings over 20 years of experience in the Natural Resources sector, with a strong focus on the junior mining industry. She has a well-rounded background in both corporate and operational management, including expertise in capital markets, corporate governance, and stakeholder engagement. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from York University.
